My younger brother took this picture in a nearby neighborhood (You can tell it's local because of the Texas flag street numbers):
So . . . what would you call this while still being politically correct. "Midget mailbox?" Nope. "Dwarven drop box?" Too offensive. "Pygmy postal center?" Still no good. How about "Post-and-parcel-delivery-receptacle-for-those-who-are-hmm-let's-see-...-the-nicest-way-to-say-vertically-impaired?" That's it! (I think we're on to something!)

That's sooo funny! And cute. I'm really short and my siblings always use to say that I was vertically challenged. I guess I need that mailbox.
Is that even legal? XD I know my local post delivery woman would scoff at that and drive right by.
Hehehe...
(It's very well protected from drive-by damage though!)
I like how it almost looks like there is a tiny pair of glowing eyes inside. An evil mouse waiting to defraud the U.S. Postal Service and maybe bite your finger? :)

Claire - Drive-by damage, yes. Steel-toed boot damage, not so much! :)
@ Inky You noticed the tiny pair of glowing eyes, too, huh? I almost said something about it.
@ Claire I guess it's still subject to a clown car drive-by. LOL
Maybe it's for those 5 year old's that are so rich, they own their own house!
Haha too funny! Was this a prank? Or did the homeowners intentionally want a vertically challenged mailbox?
@ "M" I can't say for sure, but it kind of looks like maybe someone ran into the mailbox and destroyed it, but the top was still intact, so they just set it where the original, taller mailbox was.
